Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 19 May 2025
These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Solenne, operating from 18 Naresdamri Road, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110, Thailand, provides its services to clients. Please read them carefully before engaging with us. By booking a session or programme, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If anything is unclear, you are welcome to ask before proceeding.
1. About Solenne
Solenne is an independent document organisation and general information service based in Hua Hin, Thailand. We help individuals and families organise personal records, understand retirement-related paperwork in plain language, and prepare clearly labelled household archives. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or pension advice, and nothing we say or produce constitutes such advice.
2. Nature of services
All services offered by Solenne are organisational and educational in nature. Our work involves:
- Helping you sort and label documents you already hold.
- Explaining common retirement-related processes and paperwork in plain, accessible English.
- Providing printed organisers, reference notes, and glossaries to support your own record-keeping.
We do not represent you before any authority, institution, or employer. We do not make decisions on your behalf, complete official forms on your behalf, or submit any documentation to any body. For those matters, we will point you to the appropriate official sources.
3. Services and fees
Our current services and standard fees are as follows:
| Service | Fee (฿) |
|---|---|
| Personal Folder Setup | ฿3,700 |
| Plain-Language Information Series | ฿14,500 |
| Household Archive Programme | ฿32,700 |
Fees are quoted in Thai Baht and are payable before or at the start of the first session. We reserve the right to adjust our fees from time to time; any adjustment will be confirmed in writing before any booking is finalised. Printed materials included with each service are covered by the stated fee.
4. Bookings and cancellations
Bookings are accepted by email or telephone and confirmed in writing. Once a booking is confirmed:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session incur no charge.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of a session may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the session cost, at our discretion.
- Where sessions are postponed at your request, we will do our best to accommodate a new date without penalty.
- If we need to cancel a session for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any amount already paid for that session.
5. What we ask of you
To make our sessions as useful as possible, we ask that you:
- Bring or have available the documents you would like to organise or discuss.
- Let us know in advance if there are particular topics or paperwork you would like to focus on.
- Understand that we offer general organisational help, and that questions requiring formal professional advice will need to be referred elsewhere.
6. Limits of our service
We want to be straightforward about what Solenne does and does not do. We are not a law firm, financial planning service, tax adviser, or government agency. Accordingly:
- Nothing provided by Solenne — whether spoken, printed, or written — should be understood as legal, financial, or tax advice.
- We do not make representations about entitlements, eligibility, outcomes, or the decisions of any institution.
- All information we share is general and educational; individual circumstances vary and professional advice should be sought for personal decisions.
7. Printed materials and intellectual property
Printed organisers, notes, glossaries, and other materials provided to you as part of a service are for your personal use. They may not be reproduced, resold, or distributed without our written permission. The content of these materials reflects general information only and is not tailored to your individual legal or financial situation.
8. Confidentiality
We treat everything you share with us as confidential. Information you provide during sessions is used only to carry out the service you have requested. We do not pass your personal information to third parties except where required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Liability
We take care in everything we do, and our sessions are designed to be helpful and accurate. However, because our services are organisational and informational rather than advisory:
- We do not accept liability for decisions you make based on information or materials provided by Solenne.
- We do not accept liability for the actions or decisions of any official body, institution, or third party.
- Our liability is limited in all cases to the amount paid for the session or programme in question.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand. We are always happy to try to resolve any concern informally first — please contact us and we will do our best to find a straightforward solution.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for other reasonable reasons. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date of last update shown at the top. Continuing to use our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
